Greetings
I’m Sof. Thank you for visiting my shop.

Here you’ll find my sewing experiments in denim, a material I find to be pure, honest, and durable.

After feeling disillusioned with my former employment, I returned to my education in creative pattern making.
It began when I rescued a 1961 Brother Z651, a Japanese machine in turquoise blue. I’ve nicknamed her Blue Thunder, or Blue for short. Though I hadn’t used a sewing machine seriously since my time at Central Saint Martins and the University of Hertfordshire, I kept working with my hands over the years through knitting, hand sewing, crochet, and mending.
The machine I had now adopted was so well made, I felt inspired to restore her and see if she could still sew a strong stitch.

That’s where the journey began.
Please check out my gallery to see what Blue Thunder and I have crafted so far.
